Day 01. Surabaya (airport/hotel) – Cemara Lawang

Bromo Ijen Blue fire Tour 3 day 2 Night | We pick you up at your hotel or the airport in Surabaya (Juanda Airport). We drive in approximately four hours to the village of Cemara Lawang. We overnight in the Bromo area to stay in a hotel overlooking the landscape and volcano Bromo.

Day 02. Mount Bromo sunrise tour – Ijen | Bromo Ijen tour

You will be wakened up at 03.00 a.m., and have a cup of coffee or tea before we leave for a short drive – 40 minutes – to Pananjakan, the highest viewpoint in the area to see the sunrise. But, of course, whether you can see the sunrise depends on the weather conditions. Then we will descend to the Sea of Sand to see the crater of Mount Bromo.

Afterwards, we go back to the hotel to have breakfast. After that, we continued our trip and drove around 4 hours to Pasir Putih Beach to have lunch at a beachside restaurant.

Hereafter, we drive for another 3 hours before we arrive at the village Sempol/Blawan (Ijen area) to pass the night. You have time to explore the surroundings and spend some leisure time in the hotel if you like. There is, among others, a hot spring in the area.

Day 03. Ijen trekking – Surabaya |Bromo Ijen tour

Around 01:00 am, the Ijen expedition team will bring you to the parking area of Mount Ijen, around 50 minutes from the hotel. This trip crossed the Arabica coffee plantation. After arrival at the parking area, continued trekking to the Ijen crater which’s needed around 1.5 to 2 hours. trekking to the Ijen crater about 3 km ( 2.386m ). enjoying the wonderful blue fire/blue flame and acid lake.

After sunrise, the Ijen expedition team will bring you back to the parking area, on the way you can see the beautiful panorama and the sulfur miners. Around 1 hour you will arrive di the parking area, where you can drink some coffee or tea after that we continue to drive back to Surabaya with the same route road to Ijen. and the tour program finishes.

Ijen crater is a large upland area that includes the peaks and foothills of Mt.Ijen, Mt.Raung, Mt.Suket and Mt.Merapi plus several smaller peaks. The highlight of this area is Ijen crater lake, a large crater lake atop a dormant volcano.

The colour of the lake is astonishing. A combination of the yellow sulfur and the brownish-red rocks surrounding makes a beautiful blue-greenish lake. There is some access to the crater, but most people start to hike from Pal Tuding. From this point, we need to hike for 3km or 90mins uphill through the forest.

At 12.30 am, We will pick you up and take you to the slope of Mount Ijen, passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining on the island of Java with giant ferns and plants, and big trees, this journey takes approximately 1,5 hours from the hotel. Arriving at the parking area of Mount Ijen.

Approximately 1 to 1.5 hours will be required to ascend the slope of Mount Ijen to reach the peak of Ijen Crater and along the path, You will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shade.

Rest on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy the best panorama of the lake of sulphate which reflects spectacular views in the surrounding walls to give the impression of doom.
